This weekend, Thanet Liberal Democrats lost a great officer and leader, Jeremy de Rose.
Jeremy believed deep in his heart in what we were doing as Lib Dems, and saw the possibility for a better future we could build, especially in Thanet.
It was not about just winning. It was about changing the way of doing things where the best people, and working ideas overrides ideologies.
And he knew those ideas came from those at the coalface. He wanted a Thanet party made up of diverse people, who have the best experience.
Whatever was going on, he was always leading from the front, and he would always have everyone's backs.
There will never be another quite like him, yet he staunchly believed we all have the capacity inside to be equal, or better than him.
