Matthew Brown

A dedicated local campaigner with a background in computing and the internet, is the founder and chair of Thanet Creative, supporting writing and creativity.

His key priorities include:

  • Road Safety – Holding KCC accountable for potholes and unsafe junctions, especially the Tenterden Way and Millmead Road junction.
  • Children and Family Services – Advocating for continued funding of the Millmead Family Hub and reforms in Kent’s social services.
  • Environmental Protection – Opposing Southern Water’s sewage discharges into local seas and beaches.

Standing as a Liberal Democrat, Matthew seeks genuine change in Thanet, undeterred by bureaucracy or personal health challenges.

Thanet deserved better than Reform's Daniel Taylor

Reform UK relentlessly sold Taylor to Cliftonville as a ‘devoted family man’ without bothering to properly look into his background. But as we all know now, this is no isolated incident.
